Bone's being adapted to animation
Bone holds a special place in a lot of hearts (a copy of volume one my older brother left in the living room is one of the first comics I remember reading) — so getting this one just right will be tough. Hell… after decades of existing purely on the page, just finding the “right” voices for the Bone cousins seems like quite the task. Studios have been trying since the late ’90s to adapt Bone for the screen, only for efforts to fall apart over the years. Hopefully Netflix is the one to actually get it done.Hopefully, they won't victimize it with political correctness, and Smith won't stand by idly and allow his creation to be subject of Hollywood denigration and "wokeness". Because if that happens, then it's clear the time for adapting this kind of tale will be long past, and anybody who loved it as a comic will be turned off by social justice propaganda tactics, if they do indeed turn up.
That's why getting it right will be tough...if SJWs are allowed to have their way at a company like Netflix, which is no more immune to leftist propaganda than any other network or studio.
