Jim Zub thinks these celebs are worth upholding

Here's another political tweet thread from Zub, where he appears to be upholding Hollywood hypocrites like Alyssa Milano: And not very politely, if that bit of profanity says anything (here's an archived format). He thinks the news site, leftist though they are, is wrong? But Mr. Zub, the celebs in focus are shallow and foolish, so it doesn't make much difference what they're advocating now, after all the negative behavior they engaged in earlier. Say...is that some sort of a subtle swipe at Donald Trump and his family? If that be the case, it's double the foolishness on his part. Not if it's coming from such far-leftists who can't take responsibility for their mistakes, and continue to act very irresponsibly as they go along. Be that as it may, it doesn't mean much when it's conveyed by such awful personalities in Hollywood. Milano was one of the most divisive leftists during that time, going miles out of her way to attack Donald Trump, originally supported Islamist Linda Sarsour before distancing herself, and it appears she lied about having Covid19 herself just so she could justify her ruthless attacks on Trump. Her radical political activism cost her a TV show, and has since made it difficult for me to watch sitcoms like Who's The Boss ever again, realizing what harm this actress has done. Rose McGowan took issue with Milano over the serious double standards she's gone by, with reason. Even Eva Longoria appears to have been bad news, seeing that she was part of the Time's Up board recently discovered covering for Andrew Cuomo before he resigned as NY governor. What's the point telling us these celebs are using their influence for anything, when they're so bankrupt if you look at their conduct under a magnifying glass?

So if anything, Zub's given a clue just how poorly informed or plain ignorant he is when it comes to politically related issues. What a shame he doesn't just refrain from political statements altogether, because whenever he does, he almost always seems to really have something awkward to say. Even on the Covid19 pandemic, if this is any suggestion.

One more item of note he posted was this one, about old media as compared to new: If this is supposed to point out how older entertainment does have serious rhinestones, let's be clear: of course there were dreadful products in decades gone by not worth the paper/celluloid they were made on. I certainly don't think horror movies of the 80s like Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street were good influences. But if this is meant to say newer media is artistically better in every way, that's mighty dumb. It's just that today, entertainment value is worse off than before, no thanks to all the politicization it's undergone over the past decade. The argument would be clearer if one argued that older media is not necessarily any better than newer in every way.
