Horror-themed video game adapted to comics

Despite reports to the contrary, however, neither book has been cancelled by the publisher — and both remain on track for release on a new schedule. It's a real shame the horror genre is what continues to be considered for licensed adaptations as much as original horror titles themselves in comicdom. That said, if there's anything worse, it's that the creator of the franchise, Scott Cawthon, was blacklisted over his support for Republicans, and suffered threats after his conservative positions were discovered. That's definitely a terrible shame, and any hoodlums who attacked him should be arrested and prosecuted. But, it's also sad when a conservative supporter won't differentiate much from liberal counterparts in what kind of concepts he or she will create for the entertainment industry, and honestly, it's regrettable Five Nights at Freddy's the kind of video game considered a big deal, when here, a video game built more around a brighter, more optimistic premise could've been emphasized instead.
Concerns surrounding Five Nights at Freddy’s: Tales from the Pizzaplex Vol. 2 and Vol. 3 started emerging after fans noticed that Vol. 2 had been pulled from its original September 2025 release slot, and with the worry growing when it was later noted that previously revealed cover art for both books was no longer being used, with new placeholder images featuring only the logos for each book taking their place in catalog placements. The confusion over what was happening with the volumes was such that that it was even being reported that the second book had been cancelled.
That’s not actually the case. Sources tell Popverse that the release dates for both titles have simply been pushed out, with Volume 2 now due in May 2026, and Volume 3 in the fall of that year.
Now, it turns out it's even being adapted to comicdom, and just makes for yet another shoddy concept the industry doesn't need at all.
