CBLDF now stands for all the wrong things, and all the wrong reasons

The SDCC published an announcement that the now pretentious CBLDF is allegedly fighting censorship, except that here, they seem to be taking the side of perversions:
At the event, they’ll be debuting a new initiative in support of the CBLDF, called “FIGHT CENSORSHIP, READ COMICS!” where they’ll be unveiling new artwork for the initiative from artists including Maia Kobabe (Gender Queer), Matt Kindt (Mind MGMT, BRZRKR), Gabriel Bá and Fábio Moon. [...]

During the evening’s events, Oni Press will also be offering 50 signed copies of the Gender Queer: Deluxe Edition hardcover with a bookplate signature by creator Maia Kobabe with all funds benefiting the CBLDF. High-quality, 11×17″ prints of Kobabe’s FIGHT CENSORSHIP, READ COMICS! illustration will also be available at the Oni Booth #1829 throughout the week, with a portion of all proceeds benefiting the CBLDF.
I hadn't paid enough notice before, but how interesting Oni's the publisher behind this corruption of values. And the CBDLF, the same outfit once managed by Charles Brownstein, who'd been accused of sexual misconduct in the mid-2000s, is backing this as though children's well-being doesn't matter. This does nothing to improve their image at all, and practically signals they're unrepentant. If memory serves, Frank Miller's been a member of their supporters in the past, and seriously, one must wonder what even he thinks of this latest venture of theirs, which is hurtful to children. It even reminds me of a Daredevil story he wrote in the early 1980s (issue 191), where a young boy who seemingly idolized Hornhead had a crooked lawyer father, and upon tailing them to a park where the dad drew a gun on a contact before DD stopped him, and witnessing all this, the mentally unstable child apparently came to believe he was a villain. And later, shot another child at school. If Miller today turns out to be the kind of liberal who doesn't think there's anything wrong with making children question their biological sex by contrast, then he's seriously made a mockery of the DD story he penned back in the Bronze Age.

Following this troubling news, a case could be made it's best to boycott Oni, and the CBDLF, and not make any donations to the latter's "causes", if they're going to defend indoctrination propaganda. The event they're holding at SDCC certainly confirms they uphold troubling leftist agendas in comics no matter the influence on children, and again, only perpetuates the bad image the aforementioned Brownstein first tainted them with.

Update: Mike Baron informed me that when he asked CBLDF for aid on his lawsuit against Daily Kos over the trouble they caused for his Private American project, they refused to help. Proving CBLDF is only about leftist causes.

I don't expect to be perfect at the job, but I do my best.
