Star of Shang-Chi and Barbie movies has some very awful public statements to his record

There's a new movie that's been made based on Mattel's toy franchise that, IIRC, was adapted at least once into comics (by Marvel themselves in 1991-96), and one of its co-stars, also star of Marvel's Shang-Chi film, has given away how shockingly woke the new toy film looks to be. Here's what Breitbart's been reporting:
Actor Simu Liu, who plays one of the many Kens in the upcoming Barbie movie, said the film will put the “final nail in the coffin of that very heteronormative idea of what gender is.”

Speaking with ScreenRant’s Joe Deckelmeier, Liu talked about growing up in a “society where traditional gender norms were pretty heavily enforced” and how he appreciates how the Barbie movie will be pushing those barriers.

[...] Liu further said that he appreciated how director Greta Gerwig allowed the movie to criticize Mattel and have a conversation about the many problems associated with Barbie.

“There are some really scathing critiques of the idea of Barbie, what Barbie has been or is. And also some really scathing critiques on Mattel as well, which I love,” he said.
This pretty much confirms the disgraceful actor and director didn't make this movie because they appreciate the concept to begin with. Otherwise, why would they go to such lengths to tarnish it with all this LGBT garbage in the first place? This makes me so glad I haven't seen the Shang-Chi film, which'll be humiliated by this pedestrian "actor" by extension. And Mattel's okay with this? How embarrassing.

Another reason even Shang-Chi's bound to age badly is that Liu minimized the seriousness of pedophilia nearly a decade ago, and he later attacked Martin Scorsese, doubtless to virtue-signal. This Barbie-based movie is hopefully going to be shunned, mainly by the many girls the screenplay's bound to belittle instead of please. Hollywood sure knows how to alienate instead of bring joy these days.
