Superheroes may always win, but how well does that theory hold today?
New Scientist and physicist Pablo Gleiser (via Hot Air) talk about why superheroes always win. If only that could still be regarded as true, but, as Identity Crisis, Avengers: Disassembled, Countdown to Infinite Crisis, and Civil War have shown they can pretty much lose because the editors dictate it to go that way, regardless of whether it makes sense or not.
