Rob Liefeld has gone off his rocker
Freelancers, tell your editor he works for you, not the other way around. Routinely fire them to remind then you call the shots.Wow, this really takes the cake, and lets us all know that he's a real flake. Just how can a freelancer truly "fire" his editors, who're basically his bosses and might be paying his wages? All this does is show he's really full of himself and his overblown ego. There were a few replies to this brainless tweet of his, and this one explains perfectly what's wrong with his stutter:
And, also, that's kind of a douchey thing to say to people who hire you and pay your salaryYup. While the editors now mandating the Big Two are some of the most awful people in the biz today, it's unlikely that any disagreements he had stemmed from the awful directions both companies are taking their casts of characters in, and to tell freelancers something that isn't true is stupid and only makes him out to look idiotic, and it's unlikely to endear him to many editors. The good news is that neither DC or Marvel are likely to hire him again in the forseeable future, as he launched tirades against Tom Brevoort, who said on his Formspring page that he doesn't see them bringing him back anytime soon. This might be one good omen for the medium, that an artist as horrible as Liefeld won't be finding work with major companies much anymore.
Labels: dc comics, dreadful artists, marvel comics
Hopefully this'll make people realize he's a complete hack and not worth hiring in the first place, if that's the kind of attitude he's taking. I wonder if Liefeld (or his phony blog troller) will show up here and scream at us again.

This should amuse us all, as he and Scott Snyder recently had a nice wank-fest over Batman (and the former is the loser, shall we say):
