Ron Marz dismisses the Iraq war as worthless again

Marz's political downside surfaces again, as he attacks Sen. Rand Paul for filibustering the appointment of John Brennan:

Cliches, cliches and more cliches denying that Saddam wasn't worth taking down, and he's disinterested in the plight of Saddam's victims and even North Korea's own victims, just like Dennis Rodman appears to be. I guess the Fantastic Four shouldn't even be thinking of trying to defeat Doctor Doom in Latveria and Victor Von couldn't possibly oppress his subjects either. Marz seems unable to be a realist. Paul's certainly better than his horrific father, and this is no reason to be panning the junior Paul. Where is the altruism these days?

Update: Marz made some vulgar, dreadful gay jokes in conversations with Hube and Doug, and now, he's even making fun of Justin Bieber:

If he were a conservative, nobody on the left would be amused by his crude jokes. I feel sorry for him now; he's really losing his grip on common sense.

So glad steely-eyed patriots Rand Paul and Ted Cruz finally put a stop to those drone strikes on U.S. soil that never happened.

So glad Obama has continued Bush's policies which prevented further terrorist attacks on US soil which never happened.

Shut. Up. And. Write.

Via Twitter, Ron didn't like that I said those last four words. I asked, then, why he said "STFU" to people speaking about gun rights in the aftermath of Sandy Hook. He said he was speaking in general terms to anyone getting political in such a situation. Which is absurd, of course. Where were his Tweets to those immediately screaming for all sorts of new gun control?

Nevertheless, I pointed that I was also speaking generally -- that when creators whose product goes out to everybody blast one (sizable) portion of that "everybody," it not only pisses people off but it's an awful business move.

Then he just got silly. But I did appreciate the time he took to indulge me.

I don't have the kind of virtue - evidenced by compete, abject, unquestioning, grovelling political conformity - to deserve to read DC any more.

Anyone who's read Marz's writing might question whether he ever had a grip on common sense to start with. He certainly hasn't had one on plot, dialogue, pacing, or characterization.

Your obsession with Ron Marz, who's CLEARLY just trying to fuck with you idiots, is creepy. Get a better hobby. Go outside maybe. Talk to some girls. Get a life.

Nah, I'd say that you're the one who needs to get a life, Ron Marz fan. You're the one who was "offended" by what was written and decided to comment here to tell us what to do.
