Lobdell kills off Superboy
"[Superboy makes] the ultimate sacrifice, giving his life in order to stop the universe from falling apart," Lobdell told the crowd, semi-spoiling the ending of the upcoming "Krypton Returns" story arc. From "Superboy" #26 on, the titular star of the comic will be Jon Lane Kent, the original son of Clark and Lois from an alternate future. Lobdell also announced that Supergirl "will be leaving the Superman family forever, for another whole set of books in the DC Universe."I think it's Connor Kent, the Superboy who first debuted in 1993, who's doomed. The irony is that they can't keep the DCU from falling apart under their phony writing talents, nor its sales. Anybody who doesn't want to suckered into buying such an insulting cliche would do well to avoid their publicity stunt like the plague.
As for Supergirl, I wonder if that announcement confirms they don't know what to do with her.

Talk about pointless! They already killed him off and pissed people off by doing so. Now they're doing it again? Yeesh!

You do know that this is probably just him trolling around. He has already been shown in "Forever Evil #2", which takes place after "Krypton Returns". He's probably saying this so that more people will buy the issues from the "Krypton Returns" crossover to see what happens.

To me, it doesn't matter if he's trolling or not, I'm sick of these lame publicity stunts and trolling creators.
