Comics could have origins as early as the stone age

The UK Observer wrote about a book by psychologist Neil Cohn called The Visual Language of Comics, telling how they could have roots dating back to the stone-and-ice age.

Interesting to see that it could potentially go that far back. I suppose the cave drawings could be considered such, even though I've also heard that they were basically the cathedrals of their day.

Another early example(this one from the Middle Ages) is the Bayeux Tapestry, considered by some to be the first comic strip.
