J.M. deMatteis wants a new Watergate scandal?
In 1972, Richard Nixon and Spiro Agnew won the White House in one of the biggest landslides in U.S. history. (1/2)— J.M. DeMatteis (@JMDeMatteis) February 7, 2017
Two years later, they'd both resigned in disgrace. Things can change quickly. Don't give up hope. (2/2)— J.M. DeMatteis (@JMDeMatteis) February 7, 2017
Is he saying he's hoping for a new Watergate scandal to bring down Donald Trump? Oh yeah, that's all we need, that an incumbent president be accused of wrongdoing for nothing more than political gain by the rivals. Wouldn't it be better if the incumbent wasn't guilty of any literal wrongdoing? Let's be clear: Nixon wasn't innocent, but I've got a feeling deMatteis's not alluding to him for any of the right reasons. And why doesn't he consider why Hillary ultimately lost or why Obama's tenure wound up frustrating many people? Too bad deMatties is being so petty.
