An interesting comment by Mike Baron

A few weeks ago, Baron said the following about Rid Ahmed, a British performer who's an Islamic adherent (and appeared last year in Star Wars: Rogue One), possibly in response to some bizarre victimology the actor came up with, more on which anon:

I would hire Riz Ahmed to play an Islamic terrorist.

Fascinating. I'm guessing Baron said this because Ahmed claimed the lack of "diversity" on TV could lead Islamists to join ISIS. Needless to say, Ahmed's falsehoods were offensive and victim-blaming, and doesn't solve the problems at all. If that's what he thinks, then Baron's got a great idea: Ahmed would make a great choice to play villains. As for his role in the Star Wars entry, it'll have to be viewed with a grain of salt, unfortunately.
