CW network developing a series centered around the lesbian Batwoman
Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence.More to the point, don't call the producers of this tommyrot geniuses, because they're definitely not. The part about social justice is certainly telling at this point where they're going. One Angry Gamer notes:
But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.
As noted in the BBC news piece, Batwoman was re-introduced to the DC Comics universe as a lesbian under the Kate Kane run back in 2006. So far, her entire story-arc and character development centers around her lesbianism, as depicted in her outing in the cartoon movie Batman: Bad Blood back in 2016.Yes, I've noticed the news about She-Ra - Mattel's spinoff from He-Man - in a new rendition, illustrated to look like a masculine lesbian...and drawn by one too! In which case, this becomes a case of a LGBT/SJW activist hijacking other people's creations for the sake of their own agendas and twisted beliefs. And leaving tons of young girls with nothing good to admire.
Social Justice Warriors have been heavily pushing to turn many female heroines into lesbians, to make them more masculine so as to appear trans or androgynous (like the upcoming She-Ra And The Princesses of Power) and to heavily include LGBTQIA characters in many major games (such as The Last of Us 2, Overwatch and anything made by BioWare), movies, and comic books (pick anything from Marvel).
Warner Todd Huston at Breitbart also notes:
The character will be based not on the more well-known Barbara Gordon Batgirl character, but upon the openly gay character of Kate Kane who debuted as Gotham City’s Jewish, lesbian superhero in 2006. Kate Kane appeared in Gotham during a period when DC had been publishing its Infinite Crisis series starting in 2005. The storyline took Batman out of Gotham for a period of time, giving the Kane character the idea to take up the bat mantle in his absence. On this, I'd like to note that it's a social justice-engineered remake of the Silver Age Batwoman, Kathy Kane, whose character was originally killed off around 1979 by the League of Assassins in Detective Comics #485, and honestly, I think their reasoning was ridiculous (Denny O'Neil said that with Batgirl at hand, they didn't need Batwoman), because it's not like she had to continue working in a mask and cape forever. In fact, as I recall, the lesbian Batwoman was introduced at the time Identity Crisis had been published, and much like that abomination was used to precede the introduction of an Asian Atom, Black Firestorm, female Manhunter and Latino Blue Beetle, so too was this period exploited for the sake of introducing a new lesbian take on the Batwoman role. In a way, Kate Kane's introduction came about via a very bad moment in publication, engineered mostly by Greg Rucka, himself a boilerplate SJW leftist, who was also one of the contributors to Infinite Crisis, one of their worst crossovers of the time.
The CW’s superhero offerings are filled with gay characters. All of them — including Black Lightning and ensemble show Legends of Tomorrow — feature top-billed characters who are gay. But, if the show makes it to TV, Batwoman will be the first major series with a lesbian as the lead character.Yes, it's stupefying, isn't it? When there's that many gay characters, so practically every one of the shows will have a diversity quota filled in, you realize ideological agendas overshadow much of the proceedings. At this point, it figures that was one of the reasons why DC went about introducing characters of different race and orientation to take over the roles of white protagonists - so that the TV and film producers could build on that, as if they actually had to in order to move their projects forward, which is nonsense.
It's bewildering just why any of these programs are still on the air, since with all the leftism they're clogged with, right down to the anti-Trump metaphors, you'd think most people would've learned to avoid them by now. Indeed, what's the use of tuning in? With this kind of propaganda littering the airwaves, it's better to change the channel or just turn off the set altogether.

Batwoman is about as far from looking masculine as you can get! Generally, the classic, long - established lesbian comics heroines tend to be pretty, perhaps with short hair. Light(Ning) Lass and Shrinking Violet, Karolina of the Runaways, Maggie and Hopey, and so on.
