Mark Waid's now facing a lawsuit for tortious interference
If Waid's instructed to pay for damages, he'll be getting what he deserves for bringing himself down to such a PR embarrassment in the past dozen or so years. Predictably, Bleeding Cool's taking Waid's side in this whole affair, as they spoke with his lawyer, while no statement is provided from Meyer's.
For now, a good way to send Waid a message is not to buy any more of his future books if he's going to go miles out of his way to potentially break the law.
Update: quite a few "professionals" are taking Waid's side, predictably enough. But very few are people I've ever heard of, and if they're trying to impress upon the audience, I got a feeling their products may not get much mileage if they're going to take the side of a guy who turns out to be so dreadful.
Labels: indie publishers, moonbat writers, politics
So are you on Meyer's side?
