According to this fawning article by VG24/7, it looks like the obsession with pushing a politicized creation onto gamers as much as comics readers has found its way into the program of Marvel's Avengers:

When such a brand new choice as Khan is made today for merchandise, it's a sign something's rotten in Denmark, because of the elements her character's built on.

This is precisely why anybody thinking of spending money on what could be an expensive game would be strongly advised to spend elsewhere. The whole MCU has practically been ruined by commercialism for more than 20 years now, along with the machinations of Joe Quesada, lest we forget. I just don't see the use of wasting so much money on a product that's clearly an effort to push stealth politics into video games.
