New live action Snow White's trailer fails to impress upon audience

Breitbart reports the latest trailer advertising Disney's throughly unnecessary live action remake of Snow White, whose star refuses to keep her mouth shut about her left-wing political standings:
Disney released the second trailer for its $300 million (at least) live-action Snow White remake on Tuesday and within hours, thousands upon thousands of commenters were shredding the two minute advert. Many among the 12,000-plus critics are pointing to Snow White actor Rachel Zegler’s post-election comments, in which she wished for those who voted for President Elect Donald Trump to “never know peace.”

“Rachel Zeglar – the people need some kindness,” one commenter said quoting the film, and then, adding “Also Rachel Zeglar – May over half of the U.S. never know peace.”

Of course, Zegler apologized for her “FUCK DONALD TRUMP” screed but not before she suggested that his supporters are part of a “deep, deep sickness in this country.”

Is it any wonder, then, why some commenters went so far as to wish for the Evil Queen (Gal Gadot) to triumph over Snow White?
Problem is, Gadot's more or less a leftist herself, and that she co-starred in a needless remake of a classic alongside a far-left ideologue, whose antics she won't comment upon, and it sure doesn't help Gadot's reputation either. Failure to take issue with Zegler conflicts with what Gadot had to say about October 7, 2023. Some may call it "diplomacy", but there's just no excuse, and Gadot certainly has picked the wrong project to participate in.

That said, this remake of a famous Disney cartoon certainly looks like quite an artistic fiasco already, one that'll give musicals a bad name by extension. After this, depending how much longer the Disney studio will be around, they'd do well to move away from all these live action remakes of their past cartoon portfolio, because it's just not helping a bit, and only compounds the perception animation isn't good enough for anybody. And then we wonder why animation was ghettoized in the USA for many years as just a "children's medium".
