Superman's Doomsday is still intact
In the 16th issue of the rebooted Action Comics, it's been established that the 1993 "Death of Superman" story at the hands of an alien titan called Doomsday is still in continuity. It may have first been confirmed as part of the New 52 almost a year ago and now, this confirms it more that they're still using the plot as part of the new continuity. Why a story that limp, written only as a desperate ploy for temporary sales boosts, still has to be canon is beyond me. Especially now that Lois Lane no longer knows the Man of Steel's identity as Clark Kent, nor is she married to him any more. All that does is make things even more pointless.

Lois was basically the heart of the original story, so why they excluded her from the reboot version, I'll never know. DC editorial really seems to hate Lois.
