Valiant products apparently were revived for extended merchandise purposes
That's what I began to think after reading that the new Valiant's made some movie deals for adapting Bloodshot and Harbinger to the silver screen, just a few years after the new company was launched. But depending on one's view, that only enforces the notion this is what comics are for today: to serve more as movie material than as reading material. Mainly because the cover prices are getting so high, the chances moviegoers will read the comics are minimal.
