Bill Sienkiewicz supports Jimmy Carter, one of the worst US presidents

He drew and posted the following illustration:

So he's whitewashing and lionizing a Democrat politician who committed race-baiting during his gubernatorial campaign in 1970, and led to the ayatollah's takeover of Iran in 1979 and destroyed freedom for many? What's so moral about that? Once again, Sienkiewicz has demonstrated how poor his understandings of reality really are. It's just utterly shameful how men like him obsess over leftist politicians at the expense of cohesion.

With Liberals, it's appearances over reality every time. To quote Reagan, "Liberals aren't ignorant, it's just that they know so much that isn't true."

A really good portrait - it brings out the character of the man. And it shows that Sinkiewicz has a much broader range as an artist than you would know just from the comic books. Thanks for circulating this.
