Bill Sienkiewicz supports Jimmy Carter, one of the worst US presidents
Birthday portrait of Jimmy Carter, done last year as a celebratory nod, in appreciation of one of the most decent and moral- not just presidents the USA ever had- but also to one of the most decent and moral humans beings; A reminder of the best of us. An Inspiration. With thanks. pic.twitter.com/ixT18HqvA0— Bill Sienkiewicz (@sinKEVitch) October 1, 2018
So he's whitewashing and lionizing a Democrat politician who committed race-baiting during his gubernatorial campaign in 1970, and led to the ayatollah's takeover of Iran in 1979 and destroyed freedom for many? What's so moral about that? Once again, Sienkiewicz has demonstrated how poor his understandings of reality really are. It's just utterly shameful how men like him obsess over leftist politicians at the expense of cohesion.

With Liberals, it's appearances over reality every time. To quote Reagan, "Liberals aren't ignorant, it's just that they know so much that isn't true."

A really good portrait - it brings out the character of the man. And it shows that Sinkiewicz has a much broader range as an artist than you would know just from the comic books. Thanks for circulating this.
