Warner Brothers wants to cast a Muslim actor as Hawkman

First, it was Disney/Marvel seeking to cast an openly homosexual actor in a role for another of their film entries. Now, although this may have begun as a rumor, We Got This Covered (via Cosmic Book News) is telling that WB/DC is planning a Hawkman film, and ruining everything by stating they want a Muslim actor to play the foremost role of the Winged Warrior:
Sources close to We Got This Covered can confirm that as has been rumored a few times now, WB is definitely developing a Hawkman movie and apparently, are eyeing a Muslim actor (who wasn’t named), between the age of 30-39, for the lead role. Furthermore, it’s said that Hawkgirl will feature as well, though no details on who may play her were disclosed.
From what's told here, it sounds a lot closer to fact than rumor, and that's disturbing. So instead of seeking an actor who could be of Coptic background (that's what the descendants of the ancient Egyptians often call themselves today), they slap everyone in the face and intellect by looking for the Religion of Peace followers who've long become the enemies of the Copts to play the role of a character descended from the original Egyptians. What next, will they go "woke" with Hawkgirl in some way that serves her badly too?

This is a slap in the face to the original Egyptians whose country was taken over by Islam at the expense of the original inhabitants, and if WB's plans proceed according to what's been announced, we shouldn't be shocked if it'll wind up becoming apologist propaganda. It was bad enough when DC turned Dr. Fate into a Muslim, and now, they're denigrating Gardner Fox's creations with forced political directions that only alienate and divide fandom in the process. No wonder WB's ownership of DC is very bad news in the long run.

Do they even have a 30-39 year old Muslim actor?

How many actors are actively religious anyway?

Are we talking about Muslim as in looks and body structure, or as in personality?
