Latino comic convention in Texas
A one-day convention spotlighting Latino comic books is coming to Dallas: Called The Texas Latino Comic Con, it'll showcase Latin creators in a one-day event, and will take place at the Latino Cultural Center on August 5.It's unbelievable how, long after the word "latinx" was clearly considered insulting to the intellect, there's still PC advocates in the MSM using it, and that dampens the impact of this news. There may be some great stuff to find at these conventions, but if that's how the news site is going to do their writeup, it's clear they're not really that respectable or admiring of it.
It'll feature special guests author Henry Barajas and Tejano singer and comic book writer Veronique Medrano.
Similar to The Latin Comics Expo, a Latinx comic book convention founded in Los Angeles in 2011, the Texas event will feature artists, panels, and workshops centered around comics and creative ventures.
