Voice actress Rachel Lillis passes away at 55
Rachael Lillis, a voice actor who starred in many “Pokémon” films and series as the characters Misty, Jessie and more, died Aug. 10. She was 55.Before we continue, however, I believe it'd be a good idea to note how insulting it is they refer to her using a masculine term, "actor", and even Breitbart's doing this, appallingly enough. This reeks of modern wokeness that seems to deliberately abandon feminine terms, in all the left's efforts to marginalize women for the sake of LGBT ideology, and it's hugely disappointing. With that told, let's continue:
Lillis began voice acting in the 1990s and appeared in hundreds of TV shows, anime series, video games and more through the late 2010s. She voiced Misty, the gym leader who specializes in water-type creatures, in the original “Pokémon” anime in 1998. Misty became one of the most popular characters in the early “Pokémon” universe, alongside Ash, his Pikachu and their friend Brock. Lillis also voiced Jessie, one half of the villainous Team Rocket alongside her teammate James and their talking Meowth.Well I'm very sorry to learn she's gone, and the saddest part being she died much too early an age. It's like how Beverly Hills 90210 actress Shannen Doherty recently passed away in her mid-50s too. What's going on? Are health services not as good as they used to be? For now, my condolences to Lillis' family.
She brought the pink, singing Pokémon Jigglypuff to life, in addition to several other creatures. Lillis voiced Jigglypuff in Nintendo’s popular “Super Smash Brothers” fighting game series throughout all four entries. She also voiced the Pokémon Goldeen in the games. Lillis appeared in the 1999 “Pokémon: The First Movie” as Misty and Jessie, plus “Pokémon: The Movie 2000,” “Mewtwo Returns,” “Spell of the Unown,” “Pokémon 4Ever,” “Pokémon Heroes,” “Jirachi Wish Maker,” “Destiny Deoxys,” “Lucario and the Mystery of Mew” and more.
