Jim Shooter returns to the scene

Among the veterans making a return to comics these days, it looks like Jim Shooter is one of them, and he's going to return to writing Legion of Super-Heroes as well, which he'd worked on for a couple years when he first began writing.
This certainly is interesting. Mind you, there are some reservations I do have about him, knowing that he was the one who led to the plague of company-wide crossovers when he put together Secret Wars in 1984, which may have helped to ruin a lot of mainstream comics since and led to a lot of editorial mandates and situations that stop potential story development dead in its tracks. But there is a possibility that he could be good news here when writing a book like the LOSH. So, it's to be hoped that this will be good news, and not a cop-out.
