Jamie McKelvie's laughable comment about Stephen Wacker
Anyway, I will miss @StephenWacker's strong eye for art. Mainstream comics looked a lot more interesting because of his team.

Mainstream became nigh unreadable because of editors like him. As one of the team that led to supplanting Peter Parker with Dr. Octopus, he only succeeded in making a niche for himself as one of the worst editors Marvel and DC ever had, and he's not destined to be remembered fondly as a result. Much like Joe Quesada won't be for his own role in breaking up the Spider-marriage.
What Quesada and Wacker have in common is that they both oversaw an awful direction prior to their departures from the editorial jobs they had before moving on to bigger tasks they don't deserve. And both have written themselves down in history as some of the worst omens for comicdom thanks to that.
